The N.I.C.E. City of Florence Award was awarded to 5 è il numero perfetto by Igort, while the N.I.C.E. Angela Caputi Award went to the film Il Vegetariano by Roberto San Pietro. 

As usual, the Jury of Students from Tuscan schools (made up of participants in the educational activities carried out by N.I.C.E.) voted for their favourite film, which in 2019 was Butterfly by Casey Kauffman and Alessandro Cassigoli.

The winning films were chosen from a shortlist of titles that had participated in the N.I.C.E. Festival USA 2019, in which, in addition to those mentioned, there were L’Ospite by Duccio Chiarini, Aspettando la Bardot by Marco Cervelli, In viaggio con Adele by Alessandro Capitani and Alessandro Cassigoli and Dafne by Federigo Bondi. 

The event was realised as part of the Progetto Sensi Contemporanei Toscana per il Cinema thanks to the support of the Agenzia per la Coesione Territoriale, Direzione Generale Cinema, Tuscany Region and Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
