The Russian Summer Nights festival is dedicated to classic and contemporary Russian cinema, organized by N.I.C.E. Festival, the Moscow Centre for International Film Festival and Programs.

The Festival is organized as a part of Apriti Cinema, the summer cinema arena that takes place every summer in the Uffizi square.

The Festival took place with the screening of 5 films, presented by the director of the Uffizi Galleries, Eike Schmidt, as well as filmmakers, actors, producers and leading figures in Russian cinema who came specially from Moscow, such as Tatiana Shumova (President of the Moscow Centre for International Film Festivals and Programs), Aleksandra Streljanaja (director), Galina Shadur (producer and Representative of Mosfil’m Company, Moscow) and Karen Shakhanazarov (filmmaker and general director of Mosfil’m Company Moscow).
