Confine tra Bulgaria e Turchia: Kamal (Adam Ali) è un giovane iracheno che sta cercando di entrare in Europa a piedi. È braccato dalla polizia bulgara e dai “Cacciatori di Migranti”. Kamal ha nello zaino un passaporto, alcune foto di famiglia, dei fogli con degli appunti e dei numeri di telefono per quando arriverà in Europa. Sperando che questo accada.

Bulgarian-Turkish border: Kamal (Adama Ali) is a young Iraqi who is trying to enter Europe by feet. Is hunted by the bulgarian police and by the so called “migrants hunters”. Kamal has in his backpack a passport, some family photos, some papers with notes on them and some phone numbers for when he will finally be in Europe. Hoping this will happen at some point.

Haider Rashid (Firenze, 1985) padre iracheno e madre italiana, all’età di 19 anni si trasferisce a Londra per studiare cinema e poi spostarsi direttamente sul campo con il documentario “Between Two Lands”. Realizza poi “Tangled Up in Blue”, prima co-produzione italo-irachena, che viene distribuito in sala in Gran Bretagna e partecipa ad oltre quindici festival internazionali, ottenendo premi al Gulf Film Festival di Dubai e al I’ve Seen Films International Film Festival di Milano. Il suo secondo lungometraggio “Silence: All Roads Lead to Music” è stato definito da Variety “splendidamente e magistralmente costruito”, mentre con “Street Opera” riceve la menzione speciale DOC ai Nastri d’Argento.

Haider Rashid (Florence, 1985) Iraqi father and an Italian mother, at the age of 19 he moved to London to study film and then moved directly on the field to shoot his documentary “Between Two Lands”. He then made “Tangled Up in Blue”, the very first Italo-Iraqi co-production, which was released theatrically in the UK and was screened in more than fifteen international film festivals, winning awards at the Gulf Film Festival in Dubai and the I’ve Seen Films International Film Festival in Milan. His second feature film “Silence: All Roads Lead to Music” has been described by Variety as “beautifully and masterfully constructed.” With “Street Opera” he received the special DOC mention at the Nastri d’argento.
