Giulia Louise Steigerwalt (Houston, 1982), laureata in filosofia con lode, ha conseguito il master in Film Art Management alla facoltà di economia dell’Università di Roma. Nel 1999 ha debuttato sul grande schermo come protagonista del film diretto da Gabriele Muccino, Come te nessuno mai. Nel 2022 ha debuttato alla regia con il lungometraggio Settembre, per il quale ha vinto il David di Donatello per il miglior regista esordiente.
Diva Futura è il suo secondo film.

Giulia Louise Steigerwalt (Houston, 1982), she graduated with honours in philosophy and obtained a master’s degree in Film Art Management from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rome. In 1999, she made her big screen debut as the lead actress in Gabriele Muccino’s film Come te nessuno mai. In 2022, she made her directorial debut with the feature film September, for which she won the David di Donatello award for best new director. Diva Futura is her second film.
