Festival in Ireland! Every year we return with great pleasure to this country that, since 2022, has been welcoming us with great warmth and participation.
\nFrom the two cities and ten screenings of the first edition, we have grown to 22 screenings in four cities in 2025. We at N.I.C.E. cannot but be proud and grateful for this fantastic result. Therefore, we sincerely thank the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin, our tireless partner in the organisation of these events.
\nAbove all, we thank the Irish audience, those who have been following us since 2022 and those who will join us for the first time in this adventure that is Italian cinema.
\nIn 2025, too, the titles we present are varied: together we will range from documentaries to historical films, via romantic comedies and family dramas.
\nThis confirms the soul and purpose of N.I.C.E., which is to support new Italian cinema, the authentic and original one.<\/p>\n

Italian Film Festival Ireland kicks off with an exceptional new addition. Thanks to the collaboration with the TUS Limerick School of Art and Design, the Festival is further broadening its horizons with a series of four free screenings in Limerick, at the TUS Millenium Theatre, Moylish Campus. Four handpicked films-the ones scheduled in Limerick-dedicated mostly to female-inspired characters.
\nItalian Cinema has been at home in Ireland for four years now, and the N.I.C.E. Italia Film Festival Ireland – now in its fourth edition – is tangible proof of this. An event that we strongly wanted, organized, supported and backed with a lot of hard work and dedication. Meanwhile, the offer of Italian films in Irish theaters has increased. Aided by the success of such films as \u201cEnnio,\u201d \u201cIo Capitano,\u201d \u201cThere’s Still Tomorrow,\u201d \u201cVermiglio\u201d and others.
\nThis year the selection of the best Italian films comes to four Irish cities – Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick – and aims to garner even more acclaim. Ten films have been selected, for a total of 22 screenings, aiming to satisfy all the tastes of our audience: from new fans of Italian culture, to those who already flock to the many \u201cLuned\u00ec al cinema\u201d events at the Institute.
\nSpecial thanks to the partners of this and previous editions: the UCC, TUS and Galway Universities, the film theaters, the Galway Film Society and our Festival partners, DIFF and CIFF.<\/p>\n
