Francesco Sperandeo
He was born in Palermo in 1979. The short, Bab Al Samah is his debut as director. Besides his activities as assistant director, he is working on screenplays for original shorts and feature films. Among his future planned projects is a feature film (probably with the participation of Omar Sharif) to be shot on location in Europe and the Arab world. Since 2007 he has taught Directing, Organization and Management of Audiovisual Filming IFTS courses in collaboration with Palermo University (DAMS).
