In an age without time, in the wild island of
Stromboli, Phaedra is overwhelmed by memories. She
remembers the day of her arrival and the wedding
with Theseus, the dances and the look of the
beautiful Ippolitus, Theseuss son. Phaedra falls in
love with Ippolitus but he is devoted to chastity
Francesco Cannavą
Born in Messina, he is a graduated from the
University of Rome Lumsa in Communication Sciences. He
concluded his studies and his formation period with a course
in Film Directing at the Nuct. He is currently working as an
independent filmmaker in Italy and USA Award Nice for short
Sicilian TaorminaFilmFest 2007.
Salvo Bitonti
Born in Syracuse, director, playwright and professor of
theatre and film direction at Academy of Fine Arts in
Turin. He founded Max Reinhardt School of theatre in
Rome. As an experimental director, he works about the
relationship between cinema and theatre. Most important
awards received are: Fiuggi Audience Award as best
director and the Syracuse Theatre Award for his career.
