Born in Lecce, he moved to Rome and graduated at the University in Humanities. He began to work as a photo reporter. After the fortunate encounter with Mario Giacomelli, his photography becomes a form of philosophical expression and his filmmaking a form of anti-photography. In the field of cinema he has worked as a photography director for directors such as Patrice Cunningam, Gianpaolo Fiderno, Otomo Yosida, Brian Giorno and Robert Rocha.
