Inspired by a true story, ...And if Tomorrow offers a tragicomic portrait of contemporary Italian society as a materialistic nightmare from which the characters struggle to awaken. Pushed over the edge by debt and his love for young widow Ketty Lomunno (Sabrina Impacciatore), small-time Sicilian businessman Mimě Rendano (Luca Bizzarri) decides to hold up the bank that has ruined him and give all its money away. Only his loyal friend and lawyer Matteo (Paolo Kessisoglu) can stop him. Luca and Paolo, a comic duo from Genoa, bring humanity and superb timing to Giovanni La Parola’s first feature.
