After a road accident Eugenio wakes up from a coma in a hospital room. He sees the possibility to run away towards freedom pretending he doesn’t remember anything. At first it works but when he goes back home, things are far more complicated and he realizes he cannot get away from reality.

Marco Cucurnia
Born in Genoa in 1975, he met Mario Monicelli in Tuscany and started a ten years long collaboration with the great director. In 1996 his first short film
High Speed won him the Nanni Loy Prize. In 2001 he made the documentary
Mario Monicelli, the Craftsman from Viareggio presented in preview at the Festival of Locarno in 2002. His short Làlibi received acknowledgements not only from the Ministry of Culture and Spectacle but also at the 2004 Genoa Film Festival. He received the Kodak Prize and the Rome Cinema School Prize at “Cinecorto 2004” in Rome; the Silver Myrtle at Poggio Mirteto; the Ciak Prize for the best Italian short film.
