A thriller set among the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiana that tells of the fascination of those lands, the excitement of sparkling wines and the conflict between respect for quality and shameless avidity.Four stories are intertwined : the story of a Count, Desiderio Ancillotto (Rade Serbedzija) fighting for his territory, the story of a very stubborn Italian-Persian policeman, Stucky (Giuseppe Battistoni), the story of the director of a cement factory (Andrea Appi) who is shot to death in a stormy and rainy night and finally the story of a crazy guy (Teseo Celio) who scraps rust from the tombs in the cemetery.
